The College is named as "MONMOHAN GHOSH ANIL DAS MEMORIAL COLLEGE" in the loving memory of heavenly fathers of the authors of the ‘MONMOHAN GHOSH ANIL DAS MEMORIAL TRUST’ deed and the college is established with a view to recognizing their services to the society and they deserved it as a devotion from us because we can never materialize our vision if we do not get higher education and inspiration from their diligent efforts and endless blessings.

In order to perpetuate the memories of Late Monmohan Ghosh and Late Anil Das the College was founded and inaugurated in the year 2015-16 at vill & P.O Sangjurai,Tarapur, Khelma, Ramnagar, P.S.Silchar Dist.Cachar , Assam by the heirs of the departed persons . Later on in the year 2016-17 , the College property and management was taken over by the "MONMOHAN GHOSH ANIL DAS MEMORIAL TRUST".
